Grades: 3-5

We will review some basics as we complete projects involving color and composition. We’ll also learn about impressionism and abstraction as we look at artistic figures like Kandinsky and Van Gogh. Some of the things we will be doing in this class is using crayons to introduce elements of art, clay to make pots and tiles, beads and thread to make bracelets, and paint to create self portraits.
