Grades: 5th only
 
In preparation for our 5th Grade Spring Musical: JOUST, this class will focus on the concepts that make up set design. Creating a concept idea aligning with the director's vision and then making that a reality! This class will help grow skills and interests in artistic and building design. Students will be taught basic safety skills for being backstage, using tools (any power tools will be used by an adult), and large scale painting techniques.
**This does not ensure everyone participating in this class will be backstage for the 5th grade musical- as there are a limited number of jobs for tech crew. Students who take the class will be credited for their work on the 5th Grade Musical in the show program.**
